Please reinstate Ms Janice Graff back to her position as art teacher immediately. Her presence in class along with her compassion and passion for teaching is a loss to the student population and the school itself that cannot and will never be replaced. Individuals like Ms Graff are what the students wish for and need and are as rare as the proverbial diamond in the rough .

Mrs. Graf was/is a teacher who cares for the students around her. She was always easy to talk to and you knew she was listening to you, not judging you.

A teacher who truly cares for her students, tries to help a kid in crisis and get penalized. A 'rule' may have been broken by leaving the grounds... she's been punished... for 2 weeks.
Now she needs to go back in the classroom to finish out her 4 months with the students that need her. This community needs more teachers like her that are for the students!!!!!!

Put this teacher back in the classroom where she belongs. She has 5 more months hoe dare you do this to her.shes a wonderfull teacher,women,mom,grandmother,role. Model.this is someone you want your kids to look up to this is someone who does more then teaching she helps students anyway she can.you think half the kids go to the guidance conselours NOOOOO They go to Mrs.graf because we're not student we could tell she cared for guidance it was just a job. We love you Mrs.graf and we will get you back where you belong!

Having Mrs. Graf not be in the class room is a tradgedy to me. I take her portfolio class, and even just miss seeing her coat hanging on her chair in the back room. All of this is weird, and I still haven't adjusted. She is a friend, a teacher, and another mother to me, and many others in this community.

Return mrs graf to teach! She has cared for this community and her students for a lifetime! She had the parents permission! After last yr boe meerings when the mr steward removed her from teaching AP art for a senior mid year and what that student and parent said, i can see the behavior towards this teacher is disgusting. And how little the students matter! Adm in CM should be a shamed! It makes the district look corrupt, uncaring and mismanaged!

This is ridiculous Mrs.Graf is a teacher and teachers belong in the classroom. Center Moriches used to be a district I was proud of but now I'm thankful that I'm out of there and I won't be sending my children there. I think administration and the board need to go out in the community and listen to the people who placed or elected them to their position.

Sometimes the best teachers are the ones that standup, think outside of the box and do something a little above and beyond that change a life forever! Showing you care shouldn't be punished!

Mrs. Graf was the best teacher I had at CM High School. She stepped up to be our class advisor when no one else wanted us. She was always there for us whenever we needed a kind word or just a good laugh. I hated high school and she always encouraged me to work hard and never give up on my dreams. She always went above and beyond for her students! I took as many art classes as I possibly could to get through those difficult years. Love you Mrs. Graf!

Things aren't always black and white. The circumstances in this situation seem to fall in that gray area and should be evaluated independently.

Return Ms Graf to the classroom !
She's a one of a kind teacher who always have the kids best interest. Not only does she teach art, she is in charge of the Interact Club, involved with our kids and the community. She should be awarded for ALL that she does NOT penalized. for helping a child. It takes a community to raise a child and Ms Graf was doing just that - the board should be reprimanding the teachers who do not teach and are there JUST collecting a check !!

Mrs Graf is what teaching and mentoring is all about. There is no better (art) teacher! Please put her back in the classroom where she belongs. She deserves to retire with respect & dignity.
