There should be more teachers who care about the students the way she does. Showing support

As a parent if my child reached out to any teacher and seemed distraught I would only hope compassion would out weigh rules.

She is an amazing teacher and always is willing to listen to her students if they need someone to talk to.

She was an amazing teacher with a very bright personality, always willing to help and always went above and beyond for anyone. This shouldnt happen to someone with such a Huge Heart.

Mrs. Graf is one of the kindest souls I've ever known. She genuinely cares about her students and truly wants to help them for their benefit. This is absolutely absurd and she doesn't deserve it!!! Put her back in the classroom where she thrives and molds young minds leading them to empowerment. She should be reinstated to fulfill her time there and retire respectfully.

Ms. Diana was an amazing teacher to me. Always very caring. She should be commended not condemned for helping a student

Miss Graf wasn't even my art teacher and I love her! She's so nice and honestly deserves to be at Center Moriches. She helps people and cares. Why is she being punished for being a fantastic human being.

The teacher seem very nice and I believe the school district needs to let her in what she did was against rules but does that really come before morals and what is right ? Then your narrow minded center moriches school district

I was terrible at art but Mrs. Dianna still took a liking to me and taught me more about important life issues than any other teacher I've ever had.

Mrs. Diana-Graf was my teacher 27 years ago. Her awareness that we are human as well as students is what made her stand out. She should be celebrated not punished for her actions.

If the Center Moriches School District doesn't want actual good, caring educators they should hire careless, unknowledgeable teachers. However, this action by the CMSD does not shock me. They've been screwing up for years.

What happened if the student committed suicide and left a note saying she tried to talk to a teacher but the teacher couldn't talk to her because of some rule. If the school board, principal, and superintendent do not want to educate, be role models, take care of our children, and be a compassionate ear when they need someone to talk to, they should resign! I'm sure we can find some teachers who are unemployed and not protected by unions that would gladly take your place.
