Praying the board makes the right decision for the students. A teacher who is willing to go above and beyond in this manner is a rare, priceless gem.

Why would the student seek help from her teacher rather than a counselor? Because the counseling department is either lacking the skills or ability to intervene in a crisis. The student would probably be required to make an appointment with someone she neither knows nor trusts. How ineffective. I salute Mrs Graf for her actions, which were sanctioned by the student's parents and which may have averted a tragedy.

Will never vote for anyone on this school board again!!! Very unsettling that this superintendent would be this pathetic to act in this manor. I wish the taxes payers(me) could have a choice on what person runs are district and is able to make choices like this. I really find this sad for the community and the students.

Janice Graff is such a role model for her students. She puts their needs above all. We a Rotarians together so I get to see first hand what a huge part she plays in guiding her students. Teachers are suppose to help their students. What kind of example does this set? The administration should be ashamed of themselves.
