As a former student of CMHS, it is a shame that she is being punished for helping out her student. She was and clearly still is a wonderful teacher who should be back with her students!

I have known Janice Graff though Rotary. As a Rotarian I got to see first hand what a huge part she plays in guiding her students. She always put the needs of her students first and always being a positive influence. Teachers are suppose to help their students not turn them away. The school district needs to to rethink their decision !

As a former student, It is true that Ms. Diana is a truly caring person and she is always there for her students. She goes above and beyond for her students. Center Moriches High School is lucky to have her and needs to reinstate her!

I am a former student of CMHS, but I never had her as a teacher. However, I worked with her as a professional. I was an aid for a student with special needs. In her art class my student felt the most comfortable and this was because she cares about every student. Putting their needs first and always being a positive influence. I think what she did was the right thing to do. Maybe against school policy, but with permission from the students parents it was the right move.

Her years of wonderful dedication to students who love her should be a testament to her honor and respect. Certainly you can put her back to her students, and call it a short probation period. It really makes no sense when her record of teaching with students is impeccable. The world needs more teachers like her who teach with Love.

I find this hard to believe. Teachers are not just teachers to us students. They're family. Some students see teachers more than they see their own families. Mrs Graf did nothing wrong. Supporting and loving a student isn't a sin.
