we got the news today that mrs graf is finally heading back to the classroom. i honestly cant thank you enough for sticking by this and helping us win. keep keeping an eye on things though because we need to make sure this never happens again.

Mrs. Diana Graf is an excellent teachers and motivated my husband to get up and go to school each day. Her classroom was his favorite place in high school. It would be a detriment to the students to let this exceptional educator go.
She is the reason for so many of my happy memories from CMHS she was an amazing teacher and always pushed me to get out of the box and that life isn't just about the status quo. You will be doing the youth of our town a disservice by taking her lessons of life love and art away from them!
The fact that the father gave permission, the girl was going through a seriously hard time, and that its her last year teaching makes this beyond absurd!!!! Bullying is the perfect word for this situation! She always puts others before herself, she does not deserve this at all!
I am a CMHS graduate (1993) who had Mrs. Graf in 7th & 8th grade. While not involved in the Art program after middle school, I do remember her as a teacher who always did what was best for kids. I hope that she is able to conclude her teaching career & retire in dignity.
If she hadn't helped this girl, and someone found out that she had turned her back, you can bet there would be a lawsuit against the her and the school. She helped this student and she should be applauded, not reprimanded.
She is one of the best teachers most of us had, she was only trying to help, and did. People in this country wonder what needs to be done to stop school violence, the answer is CARE! That's what Mrs. Diana Graf did everyday. Don't make it harder for teachers to do the right thing, let them be there for thier students!
Janice and I lived in the same cul-de-sac in Plainview. Her house was across from mine. We would often walk to school together. I remember her being such a really nice girl. The school system is absolutely in the wrong.

Mrs.Graf is a fine teacher! She has given so much encouragement and support to all of her students throughout her career. The district must recognize that her actions were meant to help heal a fragile teenager in her time of need. Please do not punish her any longer.
