She is one of the best teachers most of us had, she was only trying to help, and did. People in this country wonder what needs to be done to stop school violence, the answer is CARE! That's what Mrs. Diana Graf did everyday. Don't make it harder for teachers to do the right thing, let them be there for thier students!

Janice and I lived in the same cul-de-sac in Plainview. Her house was across from mine. We would often walk to school together. I remember her being such a really nice girl. The school system is absolutely in the wrong.

Only the truly gifted and compassionate teachers can be stripped of their lifelong calling and dedication. Such a pity that society values those doing a half-assed job with no heart. Let Mrs. Graf be a light to us all, to care, offer comfort and compassion to those who need it most. Shame on Center Moriches UFSD! Please return her to her classroom where she belongs.

Mrs.Graf is a fine teacher! She has given so much encouragement and support to all of her students throughout her career. The district must recognize that her actions were meant to help heal a fragile teenager in her time of need. Please do not punish her any longer.

Mrs. Graf is a great person and a great teacher. She has always been there for the students. It is sickening to see what is being done to her and the students that no longer have such a positive influence in the classroom. She helped a student in need. I wish all teachers could be like her.

Mrs. Diana Graf is an excellent teachers and motivated my husband to get up and go to school each day. Her classroom was his favorite place in high school. It would be a detriment to the students to let this exceptional educator go.

Mrs. Graf is a loving and wonderful teacher! Her students always come first. I've seen her put her neck on the line for them before. She's the type of teacher every parent wants their child to have! I think it's ridiculous that we even need a petition!

Mrs Graf taught both my children. She is a wonderful and caring teacher who gives children support, understanding and encouragement. She should be allowed to return to Center Moriches HS where she belongs.

It's important that common sense prevails over policy in these types of cases. Teachers shouldn't be punished for caring for others.
