The first time I heard Fr Leatherby speak was at the Sacramento Basilica on Divine Mercy Sunday, and that homily changed my life. Then I found out I lived a mile away from the church he presided over. He was such a blessing and such a representative of Christ, and the way he celebrated communion was so beautiful and TRUE. He did Not deserve this and I’m still broken hearted over it. I pray for him and for justice daily.

We want Fr. Leatherby reinstated. I feel disappointed and angry that the diocese, Bishop Soto, is not making things right. I have lost my trust on the bishop. I will forever be Catholic, thanks to Fr.Leatherby.

I am disappointed with Bishop Soto. This action is what turns people away from our Catholic faith.

I have worked with fr leatherby personally on many projects and have supported the archdiocese for many years through services from my company at no or little cost. I find it hard to believe that this unjust behavior of such a revered institution is allowed in 2018!! I am disappointed by those who are shepherding the flock but my faith is still strong that the truth will be revealed.
