Return Father Leatherby to active ministry

Father Leatherby is a great devout priest.He cared for his parish and parishioners and others when needed help It was awesome to listen to his devine sermons filled with The Holy Spirit. It was an honor to meet him and know him. I pray every day for his reinstatement The church needs hoy devout priest like him. Lord listen took prayers

I will pray that this priest is returned to his duties and Deacon David is re instated as a Deacon, Satan has his hands in the Diocese of Sacramento Hierarchy God have mercy on them

Fr. Leatherby is a good and holy priest who needs to be reinstated immediately at PBVM. The truth about what happened to him and his father can be heard in a September 2018 podcast of the Phil Cowan radio show. Because of the scandal that has been uncovered in this diocese and elsewhere throughout the Catholic Church, we, the laity, need Fr. Leatherby, a holy priest, to lead the flock now more than ever. Bishop Soto and the others should remember these words from John 3, 20: "For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come toward the light, so that his works might not be exposed."

Soto has to go, too many lies, shows what a fraud that he is.

Is Father Mark Richards recreating the role of Richard Rich in the persecution of Saint Thomas More. More said that Rich was always reputed light of his tongue, a great dicer and gamester, and not of any commendable fame. Rich would also play a major part in the fall of Cromwell. Perhaps Bishop Soto could reinstate Fr. Leatherby and Deacon David Leatherby, Jr. then resign as bishop of the Sacramento Diocese. Seems just to me!

Restore Fr. Leatherby

Please, Bishop Soto, hold a hearing. So much time has passed.

Take away the money if you want the Archdiocese to take notice. In the meantime, don't forget the faithful individuals serving you and your children in the parishes and schools. Their compensation will likely been frozen or even reduced so maybe forego your tax write off this year and instead write a personal check to your child's favorite teacher or the librarian or even if you feel called...Jeremy Leatherby. Catholics have more power than they realize in taking care of the people who are actually making a difference serving their community.

Father Leathery is one of the best fathers in Sacramento.

Give this man his life back!!

We demand an explanation.

I fully believe Father Leatherby, and stand with him wholeheartedly. I am sickened by the actions of Bishop Soto and of the Diocese staff.

We visited several Catholic parishes in the northeastern part of Sacramento County in 2011, when my child was ready to start kindergarten. Father Leatherby was the main reason we decided to join the church/school community at Presentation (though the Sisters, Deacon Lawrence and the Mass music were also important factors). We later moved to within walking distance of PBVM, like several other parish families. So the sudden disappearance of Fr. Leatherby just before Easter 2016 was a huge shock and disappointment. The diocese’s inexplicable handling of the situation over the past 2.5 years has made the parishioners’ pain and confusion even worse. Fr. L. is a great student of the lives of the saints, many of whom endured difficulties involving their church superiors. I have no doubt Father has been practicing heroic virtue ever since his removal, but he needs to be returned to active ministry ASAP – his flock needs him.

WE AS A CATHOLIC CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY MUST STICK AND BAND TOGETHER IN LOVE AND PRAYER. FR LEATHERBY HELPED US DO THIS. HE WAS FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT, HE IS A TRUE MAN OF GOD!

Justice demands expediency.

Please allow Father Leatherby to return to celebrating the Holy Mass. He was greatly instrumental in my re-version to the church in 2012. I am forever grateful to the Leatherby family and their great witness to the Lord and Our Lady. Thank you most sincerely for your consideration.

We need MEN at the helm of this ark of salvation. Holy, masculine, leadership. Our husbands, fathers, grandfathers, brothers, uncles, OUR SONS deserve to be led by virtue and strength. Father Leatherby embodies these qualities and because nothing is proceeding forward with answers, the faithful are now taking matters into their own hands. Enough is enough. Reinstate the good priest. St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle!
