Our children’s mental health effects their overall well-being. Taking away their right to an in person education is harming them in ways we see now as emotional outbreaks and breakdowns- but what will the consequences be in 5 years or ten years from now when they enter the workforce. The options they/we are given are a disgrace, and disservice to our youth. Clovis Unified provided an outstanding “growing up” environment for our entire family. One we Deere ecstatic about providing for our children. Now here we are thinking we should have moved out of California and CUSD all along.

These kids need to be in the classroom! The USA is so far behind other developed countries in K-12 education. Virtual classes are not helping fix that problem. I finished my B.A. at Fresno State on lockdown. I experienced first hand the differences between virtual and traditional classes. You are not doing these kids any favors right now.

Our kids need to be back in school full-time...there will be more adolescent deaths due to mental illness during COVID pandemic than from the actual virus itself! All 3 of my boys are experiencing the worst anxiety and depression I’ve ever seen!

Schools need to open up. This generation of kids, especially high-school are going to be the Lost generation. There are all kinds of way to think outside the box to have kids on campus. Some classes like chemistry can't be done online !
