Do you think Carolyn Brown was one of the best, if not the best female basketball player to ever come through Eau Claire High School? Carolyn Brown also known as Smiley set records at Eau Claire and afterwards in college in points scored, rebounds, etc.. that have not been broken even today. She played professional basketball in Jerusalem in 1993 - 1994 and was inducted into the
CIAA hall of fame in 1999 (http://www.theciaa.com/information/hall_of_fame/hof_list), if you think this Shamrock is truly deserving of having her Jersery #14 retired please show your support by signing your name to this petition.

I have been reviewing the stories many of you have shared about watching Carolyn play during her time at Eau Claire. It is clear that her influence extends far beyond the records she set on the court. I am currently preparing to present these collective memories to the school administration to demonstrate how much this tribute would mean to our community.

Carolyn Brown is the BEST female athletic I have ever witness in my life! #wjkalumni
I remember watching her play in 94. She was so fast it was crazy. Definitely deserves it
Smiley was an absolute beast on that court. Nobody could touch her back then. Long overdue!!
About time they put #14 in the rafters. True goat of eau claire basketball
She was legendary. My sister played with her and says she was the toughest player on the team hands down.
It is finished, it will officially be retired Fall 2018.
So talented. I wish her continue success stories.
