No! We are already dealing with a one lane road into this part of town which is overwhelmed!

We are already sending Holly Springs students to an Apex High School and putting caps on existing schools. I feel we need to address our school situation at the current population level rather than adding to the problem. Additionally, traffic flow at peak times is already a challenge and needs to be addressed.

Just travel Avent Ferry Rd. during school hours and evening rush hours to experience what it'll be like! Three more sub divisions going up on Avent Ferry and no improvement to that road for another year? Not to mention trying to turn left onto Avent Ferry from the South Park shopping center. Or how about 55 during rush hour coming home past the Towne Centre! Holly Springs planning people are a joke! Too big for their britches! Money is what it comes down to. Heaven forbid the nuclear site ever have an emergency evacuation. The five existing neighborhoods on Avent Ferry now (Trotter Bluffs, Autumn Park, Holly Glen, Braxton Village, and Holly Pointe [because seriously...the Highlands IS in Holly Glen]) have ONE WAY OUT and onto the same darn road. Poor planning there Mayor Sears!

As a resident of Holly Springs, near Sunset Lake and Holly Springs Rd intersection, I already avoid Holly Springs Rd to get to 55. I frequent Beaver Creek and other areas because the traffic is too heavy in HS. This will only serve to alienate and overcrowd the town more.

Too many negatives to Holly Springs with this development, and not enough positives.
