utter nonsense, 30c per minute on a rapid charger is a no go. Are You aware that these slow the supply each minute so we can eventually be receiveng just 5kW or lower ! thats over €3 per unit (kW)

I rarely use charging points and only use my electricity and this I pay for So I will not pay for electricity that I don't use I pay my taxes and am disgusted to be asked to pay again. If it is metered and charged for what I use in won't mind . It is bad enough to have to pay parking charges in Enniskillen but not pay in Belfast Belleek Ballyshannon and the list goes on and on Re think !!!!! irene

Why not have a pre pay card that means you only get charged for what you use and not a flat monthly fee if people tend not to use the fast chargers?

Why are ESB trying to destroy the EV movement in Ireland.
No problem paying per KW at a reasonable rate - but 30c per min is a joke. Cheaper to drive my diesel car

This monthly charge is the game changer for me kW charge and my be a annual e50 charge would be more appropriate.

I use FCP chargers 3 or 4 times daily as I am using my ZOE to commute to college. The proposed charges would make it way too expensive for me and would lead to me having to drop out of college - NOT AN OPTION

Fast charge way too expensive on top of extra time needed to charge. It will stop any long journeys. They are too expensive a car to buy solely for local journeys. Will be looking into selling my ev.

We were going to purchase an EV for 2016 but with these payment plans we have decided against it.

If this goes ahead I will not be able to afford these charges for the level of driving I have to do, diesel would be cheaper, this is so disappointing to hear

This is insane, disgraceful price gouging, and will kill the market for EV's I use SC's maybe 2 or 3 times a month and they want 18 euro a month for the privilege? and 30cent a minute for FCP?? Unfair and exploitative.

This is a very regressive move, Ill conceived and unfair, Charges ought to be based on units used. Most of us only rarely use public infrastructure, for our home charging we pay already for the electricity used.

This is rediculous. Just when petrol cost is going down. This will deter people from getting using an EV.

Cant see that this approach makes any sense. Why can't it just be a pay as you go structure? I have 2 Leafs and have only undertaken two long trips, I would be quite happy to pay a small premium charge for the occasional FCP, once they worked!

This is not what I signed up for when adopting to EV driving. This is a blatant breach of trust and exploitation of current users and a disincentive to ownership.

30c per minute at FCPs would be crazy with or without the extortionate monthly access fee. EV driving should remain cheaper than petrol, diesel or hybrid driving.

Absolutely disgraceful, rip off choices. This would encourage me to go back to diesel!
