The pricing on this is wrong. It will discourage use of EV's. It shoudl be replaced with a pay per use fee.

I use home charging mostly. for longer journeys I use a diesel car because the public charging network is not sufficiently reliable or convenient. 17 euro per month for I use I make of public charge points would be totally excessive

There is no question about this. The proposed payment scheme will hinder progress and devalue our ev cars

This will drive people back to diesel cars.

Must be charged by KWh consumed only in line with home charging rate

Make it a flat monthly fee or charge per amount used. Not both!

Monthly charge is ridiculous, should be charged with usage, usage charge needs to be inline with cost of electricity used and not time taken at point to charge

At these rates of 30 cents per minute it can costs more per Km to drive electric than to drive a 5 series BMW or equivalent

€17/month standing charge is ridiculous! if you only used FCP only once or twice a month. It will just make a Volkswagen diesel look attractive.

€17 very high especially for people on pensions and not doing big mileage.also 30cent per min very high ,will not buy another Ev.

Fiscally inviable at those prices - kills the economic advantage which is the sole reason behind EV purchase.

Drop the standing charge will pay for each fast charge

Unacceptable as far as I'm concerned. This proposal needs MAJOR reworking, but has already cost a lot of goodwill.

Poor form and a bad decision from ESB and government, the latest news from VW and emissions failures looked to be a great opportunity for electric cars and they shoot themselves in the foot.

I was going to buy an electric car. My friend had one and I thought it was great. I was really interested. Not now.....

Monthly charge too high for my driving pattern. I charge mostly at home. Adds another big disadvantage to the decision to buy an EV. Could well hinder uptake

This is unfair, would not of bought car if these rules were coming in, i use fast charger maybe once or twice a month, now we have to pay subscription for it.
