I have never met some who has worked harder or dedicated more time to the game of basketball than Colton Wager. Not only did he turn the program around last year, he also affected kids lives forever in a positive manner. Future kids need coaches like Colton Wager, the school would be remiss to not retain him.

They did the same thing to Coach Sears when my sister's played softball!! It's like freaking Jerry Jones and the cowboys. At least one of the programs is winning!! Y'all need to put the football coach in check!!

What football coach would want their guys lifting heavy the day before a game? He doesn’t exist… yet the hypocrite in him will want the same from a basketball coach… it’s mind blowing that administrators can’t seem to see it for what it is and in turn, enable it. It’s not hard, let the kids focus on the sport they’re playing during that particular season. If lifting for football is more important to them than playing basketball, they wouldn’t be playing basketball. Coach Wager is the best basketball coach that district has ever had. He actually cares about seeing the school do well as an alum and this is the thanks he gets. SMH…

Unless the workouts were illegal according to UIL guidelines, which I find hard to believe, the AD/Football coach should not care about his workouts. Is there jealousy between a football coach that did not win and a basketball coach that did?

I played for coach Wager the last 2 seasons and he cares about his players and athletes. I was one of the senior leaders this past year and we made history. We need to keep him
