I attended that program in Israel and use the skills I learned daily. I'm a clinical coordinator for a biotech company and interact with many different people.

As an alumni of the Organizational Behavior, Systems & Analytics program at New York University, I'm disheartened at the organizations consideration to remove the program. Obtaining my Master's degree from the NYU Tandon School of Engineering has leveraged and enhanced the opportunities presented to my by prestigious organizations (including Amazon, San Francisco 49ers, LAZ Parking, Aetna, JetBlue Airways, Google, and Uber). The curriculum and staff are exemplary, adding tremendous value to the program. My current role as HR Manager at Kaman Specialty Bearings & Engineered Products could have never been accomplished without the support, development, and expertise gained from master's degree in this program. I strongly encourage the decision-makers to revoke and retain the Organizational Behavior, Systems, and Analytics, Master of Science degree program.

MS IN OB has been valuable in helping lead, teach and adapt my skill set to both my Nursing and Business relationships.
Please do not cut the program.

I sign this petition in the hopes NYU Tandon will understand the urgency of the issue and how the NYU University-at-large will lose immensely in its part in shaping future global leaders in the new world of work if the OBSA program is eliminated:
1. The New World of Work: In an era where sharing economy, technology-driven growth, and war on talent are constantly serving as challenges to global organizations, business leaders are increasingly needing support from the people who can understand and proactively manage these changes. The OBSA program at NYU Tandon fulfills these needs by training future organization professionals through a set of groundbreaking topics and are taught by outstanding professors who are thought leaders in this field.
2. People Strategy learning & development for technical students: The program also benefits engineering and science students at NYU Tandon to understand the “people” side of the business.
3. Alumni Power: Alumni from the program are know leaders and decision makers in their respective organizations, and regularly provide their time to mentor incoming students. Students are enjoying the benefits of learning about real-life experiences after graduate school and some even had successfully secure jobs from networking with alumni.
Clearly, the OBSA program has set the bar high for advancing science in leading organizations. By eliminating this program, NYU Tandon will lose its opportunity to set its reputation in this field and losing its role to help shape the future world of work.
Lastly, I would not be where I am today if not because of the program, Prof. Kaufman, the dedicated professors, and my former cohorts. I have enjoyed learning from them and valued their friendship throughout my personal and professional life.

This program was pivotal in providing me the foundation to launch my career in corporate HR and has also been very valuable to me as I transitioned into a career in HR Consulting. I lead and support large transformational programs for Fortune 500 organizations on a daily basis and the topics covered by this program are clearly areas that continue to challenge organizations and they will continue to need resources skilled in these areas to support them. It is unclear to me the reasons why this program would be discontinued, but I would urge you to reconsider how to address any specific concerns you may have with the program vs. cut it entirely. Thank you for your consideration.

This program has opened a multitude of career opportunities for me. First in the corporate sector with clients including Verizon, Goldman Sachs, and WorldCom. From there I transitioned to a career in higher education. In my current position as Director, Graduate Studies and Success Initiatives at Lehman College CUNY I use the skills learned in this program every day. A shame that this program is being considered for elimination. Such a hidden gem.

I cannot express in simple terms, the value I place on this wonderful program. The skills learned in this program reach far and wide beyond just Human Resources. In this program, I learned how to manage people; how to better understand their needs. I now manage an office of 30 people as the Registrar at CUNY Brooklyn College. I owe so much of my success to the education I received in the MS program in Organizational Behavior at what was then, Polytechnic University. Closing down this program would be a bad decision. it would rob so many future students from attaining such an invaluable education and skill set. Please keep this program alive for the alumni who cheris their degree so much, and for the future students who are yet to embark on their own personal journey.

This program helped me secure my first real HR job and gave me a solid foundation in the fundamentals of HR/Organizational Behavior. I learned so much that I am able to apply in the work place. It would be a real shame if this program was closed.

There are few 2-year programs in the nation that are as beneficial this OB program. Students have the opportunity to learn how HR properly functions within a business and how that relationship can change as a result from numerous factors. In addition, the professors teach the application of the latest technologies and systems. This programs prepares graduates for their career with invaluable practical experience analyzing case studies and data sets.
Please reconsider your decision.

Please reconsider this decision. I am a recent graduate of the MS, Organizational Behavior, Systems & Analytics, with concentration in Human Capital Engineering & Analytics, HRIS and Change Management. The knowledge gained in this program spans IT, human resources, research methods and strategic business management. As a professional I know these are critical areas that must be nurtured academically to prepare the workforce for the current and future state of work. While enrolled in the program I assisted Dr. Kaufman with graduate recruitment and student support. During my last semester, while completing my thesis, I received a graduate internship at Masonite International working in Total Rewards. Following my internship I joined another global companying, Catalina Marketing, as an HR Services Analyst where I worked hands on with several HRISs and HR processes, along with analyzing data and preparing executive summaries and insights to leadership on current state as well as recommended actions. After a year with Catalina, I was offered an job opportunity as a Human Capital Reporting Analyst with Jabil - the world's third largest manufacturing/supply chain provider, which helps develop products from GE, Apple, Disney, HP, Cisco, Ericsson. Companies are searching and are in need of data scientists as well as process engineering and knowledge of the various functional touchpoints involved in organizational management and optimization. My company looks to me for guidance on how to analyze and solve problems, and they believe in me due to my academic achievement from NYU - Poly MSOB. My hope is to be able to return to the university to share progress and insights from my work experience - please do not cancel this program; that would be a disservice to the business community and future analysts.

I am an educator and my concentration in Training and Development from the MS OB program gave me an edge in higher education as well as corporate positions. The history of Polytechnic University is to innovate and create opportunities for those in the technical/engineering sector. When Dr. Kaufman started this program years ago, he understood the relevance of career guidance and talent management and how to nurture technical talent for management. The "NYU machine" has a lot of resources, degree offerings, and reputation but the expertise and experience that comes from this MS OB program has laid the foundation of what we now call "Talent Management" "Human Capital" and "Data Analytics." The current structure and fluidity of the current MS OB program is what makes it successful and unique. Please rethink this.

My name is Sneha Ghiya and I am the current NYU-Poly SHRM President and a student of the Organizational Behavior, Systems and Analytics (OBSA) program. My concentrations are Human Capital Engineering and Analytics, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and Change Management. The OBSA program has given me the insight and confidence to enter the challenging new world of data driven human capital management. It is undoubtedly one of the finest Master’s degree programs. I chose NYU over other schools- just because of the unique nature of the program. I travel from Harrisburg, PA to New york city every week to attend my classes here. I strongly urge the management to reconsider their decision to terminate this program.

Organizational Behavior plan of NYU\POLY in Israel

I found that as a supervisor with the NYPD it helped me to implement various employee programs and intervention procedures. It also allowed me to gain insight into the personalities and underlying motivations of employees actions. I was able limit disruption to employees mental well being by utilizing the concepts learned and fine tuned by this discipline. If anything, this regimen of courses should be included and expanded to become an integral adjunct to an MBA. Realizing the motivations for employees and trends within an organization allows the people trained in these concepts to move organizations forward with minimal disruption to business and people.
