Hi George, thanks for your support much appreciated, spread the word mate, share the link with your mates get them to share it. We have a Facebook page also, type in save Witney stadium I will be adding updates on there and feel free to make comments ask questions. We have beaten out target so next step is 750 so let's keep it up.

I and many others used to love the buzz of playing at this ground. Could be used for so much more and can not believe a local from Witney or surrounding areas does not have someone to fund a team to play here again! Save the stadium!!

The young and not so young need a venue to play sports especially football in witney. We have lost Marriottss, Witney Towns original ground l to housing, now we are threatened again by housing development . This ground could be used for the redevelopment of a football team/s in our town. There are plenty of landowners who are happy to use their unused fields for development subject to correct infrastructure within towns and villages around witney!!

Fantastic petition, massive shame that this is happening, very suspicious activity from those involved in trying to demolish and build. I would love to be involved in helping stop this, if you see this Dan please let me know, happy to help.

Keep the ground and let up and coming football stars have their chance. Without this we are destroying our town. No to a hotel as this is just money driven not for the people who want to play for there town and even there country!!!!!!!

Witney needs a local football team and needs to keep the stadium. Also could be used for other community events such as youth football etc

Fond memories of going to see Witney United (as was) with my Dad. Would be a shame to deny others the bonding experience of watching a local team with family, to inspire as well as unite a community with a focal point.
