we need more for the kids to do and for families save what venues we had for activit we dont want more houses and offices the kids need areas to go to

Many happy youthful memories here, the stadium was built at a huge cost and to keep alive the hope of bringing back senior football to Witney and giing the kids something to do on an Saturday afternoon, this should remain standing.

Played there as a child and an adult, coached there and had party a plenty. Save our stadium!!

This club needs to be kept ,firstly as a reminder of test old wtfc and to give a chance for the younger up and coming kids to transform in to top class footballers

Witney need a football stadium, a town of this size could support a good team . It would encourage children to play sport and have a positive interest in the activity.

Crying shame this should be restored to support community events and should include a running track to expand its use. We need more in Witney to promote health and fitness. David Cameron is known to cycle and run surely he can bring this to our town and get the community taking part in athletics as well.

Good luck, and hopefully if a benefactor for the stadium can be found then hopefully the council will have a change of heart. Witney needs a football ground of at least Hellenic standard and if the Downs Road Stadium can be modified then great - otherwise, what about doing up the old West Witney ground? Best wishes anyway!
