I was a member of Sullington Parish Council in the 70s during which time we requested WSCC to ban heavy vehicles from Storringtom High Street. Over 40 years later we still have major and bigger problems but nothing has been done to solve them

Please restrict the size of lorries coming through Storrington. This will improve traffic congestion, safety for pedestrians and air quality for all. Thankyou. .

There is a clear alternative route using Water Lane and Thakeham Road for deliveries to the village. All other HGV should be banned. This cannot continue as the A27 A24 cut through!

I live in neighbouring West Chiltingtonton and share Storrington residents' fears that too much large/heavy traffic passes through the village and is dangerous. Especially at the mini roundabout at Manleys Hill. There have been several accidents causing damage to the corner cafe in particular, it's a wonder nobody has been fatally injured.

The road is too narrow for lorries to turn in to they can easily go down Water Lane to get into the village. There has been too many accidents on this corner causing damage to several shops.

Lorries seem to be getting larger than before even adding trailers, this is a problem that joins the Pollution issue as a major concern for Storrington residents and their healthy survival !!

The pavements near the School Hill roundabout are dreadfully dangerous with HGVs regularly mounting the kerb. It will only be a matter of time before one of the local residents is killed.

I feel it is unsafe for such big vechials to be trying to use this roundabout possible diverting them along water lane would be a better idea. So everyone can pass through this junction whether they are in a car or on foot!!
