Storringtons traffic is too congested ,and it makes it worse with those huge lorries turning at this roundabout ,so many times they have ploughed into the buildings ,it's only time before a pedistrian will be knocked over .

Stop these huge lorries thundering through the village. And do something about the all vans parked on double yellow lines outside Stocker & Sons on School Hill, especially in the morning rush hour!

A very dangerous 'spot in the road' roundabout at the best of times with numerous accidents occuring every year just due to poor road markings let alone having to transverse heavy goods vehicles that are too long to make the turning and barely clear the houses, not to mention that those turning right onto the High Street are then presented with an almost immediate pedestrian crossing which then causes huge delays and pollution, not to mention the vehicles which fail to stop in time and park over the crossing.

Needs to be sorted, I did a petition and project at school on this very problem in 1987

I have lived in Storrington for 10 years and the last couple of years the traffic flow into storrington has becoming quite significantly worse. I think that HGV vehicles are too big to come through Storrington, hence why the several accidents of buildings being caught. They should use the A24 or the A29 where they are roads that can cope with the weight and size of the vehicles. Storrington is a village where people live and do their daily shopping and mix the the community, not a cut through!

Stick a 20t weight limit on the bridge at houghton too, that'll stop most of it...

I used to live in West Chiltington & Storrington was our nearest high street & where I went to school so we often saw how dangerous this junction was & it's got worse with additional traffic.

We're a village not a town, lazy lorry drivers should stick to a29 or a24!

I am totally in favour of stopping all heavy goods vehicles coming through the village. I saw 5 juggernauts from the same company coming through one morning, it has to stop.

I have had to pull my 2 year old daughter out of the way of a bus which mounted the pavement turning up school Hill!

The traffic through the village is appalling at the best of times. Living on the Cootham side of the village if can often take up to 15 minutes to drive from Pulborough Road to Manleys Hill as it is used as a short cut by road users avoiding Arundel and the A27. This is only made worse by the huge juggernauts that force there way through narrow country lanes and clog up the village centre. The pollution is at some of the worse levels in the country due to all the virtually stationery vehicles. I appeal to WSCC and Highways to sort this problem out and stop these trucks ruining the place where we live.
