Hello again, I've continued to press forward both in researching this data and in trying to get the ocean science community to face up to this as well. I have put this time in because I know that it is in their best interests and ours to promote candid science rather than fear. In any case, after three years of my due diligence efforts, a marine science journal has finally seen fit to publish a scientific editorial I have authored at: http://www.mba.ac.uk/marinebiologist/claims-of-ocean-acidification-are-trumped-by-the-actual-ocean-ph-records/
It's not what I deserved from this Journal, which critiqued me earlier this year without any supporting facts. But it is the first time an ocean sciences journal has revealed any doubts concerning ocean pH and that is a start at least. Given that small progress I hope more will consider signing this petition.

Thanks to those who have signed. I have worked over the years since I generated this petition to continue to raise awareness of this epic data omission and I have also studied the omitted data as much as time has permitted. In that regard, I have authored a technical paper which explores the missing data. This paper is available in draft form at:

This paper has what I believe are important new discoveries, such as the observation that global ocean pH oscillates naturally over time in a manner similar to other ocean indexes. Also the paper includes geochemical modeling which compares favorably to the data and which points to natural processes as the cause of the natural fluctuation.
I have submitted this paper to 2 scientific journals so far and both have rejected it. The first rejection was based on non scientific concerns and the most recent rejection included the Editor's reflection that the oceans are not buffered.

Never has truth, honesty, and integrity been more needed. We should have no tolerance for those who massage numbers to get desired results. Anyone who does so should lose their job and their credentials.

There seems to be a lot of dishonesty with anthropogenic global warming. It is frustrating. Please be honest to the public and release all data regarding this issue.
