Largent should never have been appointed to the board. He is a bully and he needs to GO!

We miss our library and want to see ALL of the staff back! This furlough was uncalled for. This isn’t how this community wishes to treat its librarians. FCL is a COMMUNITY institution (says so in its name) and NOT a corporation. Mr. Largent’s actions reveal his misplaced priorities.

Granted, the Board of Trustees has some legitimate concerns about Farmington Community Library's future. But hiding behind happy talk, leaving furloughed staff in limbo, and not offering timelines for reopening let down the public that these trustees are supposed to represent.

If Mr. Largent will not step down for the good of the library, he should be removed.

No way for an official to behave, your privilege demands greater responsibility.

I live in Farmington and while I have not used the library in some time it should be restored as soon as possible.

Restore our library! Only Liberians know how to run a library! They know their community & their needs!

Our great community deserves a supportive environment for all in its libraries. Please remove Mr. Largent and replace him with someone who supports libraries in the first place. Thank you.

I grew up here. When I wasn't at home, my mother always knew where to find me. She would call the library and ask them to send me home.

Any situation, bearing upon an impediment of the Public's enjoyment of the services they pay for, and any mistreatment of any individual regardless of setting or circumstance, deserves remedy and the removal of the impediment. Further, if something as important as a library, an institution learning and preservation of knowledge, is being mismanaged to a detrimental end, that institution rightly deserves our Public attention and remedy.

As a teacher on the Farmington Schools, the library will become essential for resources during any hybrid or online learning. Please let the experts run the library.

Libraries should be ran by librarians who are trained for this job, not board members with no experience.

No one person should be able to destroy all the good the library has done for decades.

As a fellow librarian who understands how much communities NEED their local libraries during these difficult times, I stand with the staff of this library and hope that the town administration heeds their wishes in removing this hostile board member and getting the staff back to work on behalf of their community. Thank-you.
