The President recently granted a week-long holiday break, pretending it showed "appreciation and recognition" to faculty. But we get NO advantage of this illusionary break because classes still must be prepared. If our efforts and contributions are truly appreciated, then we will see a return of the cuts to our pay and benefits.

Given MSU does not have a pension plan for hires since 2012, this was an especially damaging cut to faculty hired within the last 10 years.

I support our non-union faculty and academic staff. We've given this university our blood, sweat, and tears, and now they want the food off of our tables. Stop cutting our pay and starting compensating us appropriately.

Given the projected reasons for the cuts turned out to not materialize, it is only fair to restore the cuts.

It would help to have this done as I have been employed on several occasions all of which reimbursement was not enough.

I have been at MSU for 20 years now and the University has "frozen salaries" on several occasions for their budget issues. Now they have cut, frozen and dropped our retirement. Very disappointed that they don't have better management of the budget and value for their faculty.
