The legislature is finally reclaiming its authority and restoring the balance we fought for together. I honestly never imagined we would reach this point when I first started this, but this win belongs entirely to the thousands of you who stepped up.
Please sign my petition to Restore the Balance of Power here in Arizona! Let's bring back the Legislature so we don’t have just the Governor running things on a permanent emergency basis! Please sign this petition.
I honestly never thought this would reach one hundred signatures when I first clicked publish. It is overwhelming to see so many of you agree that we need a change. This is entirely your doing and I am just happy to play a part.

We are way beyond the time when the enforcement of the governor's emergency powers are acceptable. The legislature needs to have an open discussion about the mandates, as well as hear public health policy with opposing viewpoints.

Our state government should defer to common sense and individual freedom. Not having this as a state-wide policy has allowed every bureaucrat and official in AZ to become a petty tyrant. We are feeling it acutely in Pima County.

Enough. I'm fast approaching 79 and clearly am in the "high-risk" age group. That said, I'll take reasonable precautions for my safety but I resent being told by the government what I should be doing to protect myself.

To have an entire state subject to the rulings of an unelected office of bureaucrat health officials is absolutely unconstitutional. Ducey has proven this is not about the science and facts. Arizonans need representation!

Seems the check and balance that our forefathers set forth went out the window on all government levels. What a shame and "we the people" are paying dearly, while their power increases and so does their pockets.

The Legislature is letting the government run rough shod over the citizens of Arizona. It is time they stood up for those they are supposed to represent and stop allowing this tyrannical behavior from the Governor.

This iron fist kind of "rule" has to stop! This kind of blind, senseless dictatorship has choked our economy and people's lives long enough!
