Just been to Bermagui- blue pool is filled with tourists - Aslings Beach rock pool is just as beautiful ( better in my opinion). However, it urgently needs repair and regular maintenance and better access ( ie stairs/walkway from top). Use Bermagui as an example and Aslings Rockpool ( a hidden gem) will become a tourist destination and asset for the area.

As Aslings Beach is not a patrolled beach, having a safer protected place to swim is important. Protecting the heritage of all our iconic NSW Beach swimming pools is also important and they should be maintained.

Please, this would be such a boon to our tourist industry. I know of people that go to Bermagui just for the blue pool.

Restoring the rock pool would be a terrific investment in the local community and attract visitors, especially the growing numbers of Instagram travelers

I have recently moved to Eden. I live a short walk from the pool. I had fantasies about starting my days with a swim under those majestic pink rocks. Though it would be where I take all my visitors, where I would teach my grandchildren to swim. I was devastated when I found it full of sand and largely unusable. Imagine what an asset it could be to our community and tourists, a safe place to meet and swim.
A must do for Eden
