I remember Mr. Jordan from Percy L. Julian High School. He was a good principal and was able to keep the school in better shape than it is now.

Based on the impressive gains in student attendance and academics that Dr. Jordan achieved at Powel Academy, there is absolutely no grounds for the abrupt reassignment.

All three of my draughters went to powell academy, two graduated and one still there. I really like the way he handle things and how he teach the children to be responsible. I've been knowing him for 8 years now same routine. He's a great principal and I feel he should stay.

I've never met another principal like Mr Jordan EVER! I think the decision to fire him is unfair. Please bring him back. We need more like him in the community!

I know Dr. Derek Jordan to be an outstanding young man.
He is dedicated to providing the best possible education for all young people.
To this end he has and is willing to continue giving 150% of his time .
He deserves and has earned the right to be reinstated as
Principal of the Adam Clayton Powell School immediately.
