Kids need SAFE places to play!! Start working for the Bloomington residents and maintain our existing resources before you throw our money toward "pet" projects of our council members.

Bloomington needs to pay attention to the youth in this city.
My boys played there when it was new. Today’s youth should be able to enjoy playing there now.

These fields were once top of the line (along with the ones at Dred Scott), however, they have not been updated or maintained. Please do this for our ball players! Bloomington is a fantastic place to live......let's make sure people want to be part of this community.

Bloomington has a great tradition of baseball. It is important to keep these fields up to date for the safety of both our Bloomington kids and also those kids from communities that are traveling to play at our fields. It is time to improve these fields to a level we can all be proud of.

Dangerous for infielders, because the grass lip makes the ball hop up I'm kids face.

1000’s of people come to our community as players or spectators. This is not a very good way to represent our community. We are better than this.

The city has not only neglected these fields but also the outer softball fields at Dred Scott. Fields 2,3,4, and 6. Can’t confirm but I assume the baseball fields 1 and 5 also need attention.

The city will not allow volunteer work on the field. Has to be done by city maintenance or put out for bid.
