Restore Hrbek Fields

Our kids deserve better than this. I support an upgrade to their field of dreams!

These fields were once kept up with pride, what happened? In addition, there are full and part time maintenance crews stationed at Valley View Park, how did they let the fields get in such poor shape?

Take care of what we have .... Moir park is great example... fences taken down that were put there to keep people from driving on the grass and destroying the park's but they took it down!!!!!

We need to make the fields safe for players.

Why is it asking for donations?where do they go? The fields are in great need of repairs.

I played in these fields in the late 90’s early 00’s. They were immaculate and are now turning into an eyesore.

Please take care of these baseball fields. It is so important to keep the fields safe for all the players so they can have fun without worrying about getting hurt--especially our precious children. The city of Bloomington needs to prioritize our parks and keep them well maintained and beautiful. We chose to live in Bloomington because of the parks and natural areas.

Please take care of these ballparks for the kids!!!!

This is an opportunity to improve our community for the benefit of kids. They are our most valuable asset.

The complex is run down and in need of maintenance and updates. Please help us revitalize Hrbek Fields!

My Dad developed this ball field and he would be disgusted.

My Dad would be embarrassed and ashamed on how the city has taken care of the fields. He did the hard work to get them ready each and everyday when he ran the Classic League. He wouldn't want the City of Bloomington to help because they would do a poor job. In fact, he paid me. when I was a kid to keep the fields clean and crisp. It should be called Schardin fields. Kent Hrbek did nothing for youth baseball. My dad ran the classic league for 20 years. The fields need to be fixed! They were the Best in Minnesota. Now they are the most embarrassing. Let's change it! When I do bring my dad down to the fields to watch his grandson Li play, he and the kids can take pride that they are playing on the best fields in youth baseball

Make it SAFE

Needs to happen. A lot of Bloomington looks terrible compared to other cities, this is an easy place to start making Bloomington look like a nice city again

I agree the conditions if this field are lacking the quality and upkeep needed for the kids to have a safe and consistent experience. There are so many things that need to be upgraded such as the nets, dugouts and field leveling that need to be considered. If this is a place to showcase Bloomington baseball it needs funds to keep the conditions in sync with other cities in the metro.
