In a country dependent of immigrants to not fund our established educational institutions to cover ESL programs, especially when they known for doing so is detrimental to the education of this country.

Andy Chen I am surprised by the backlash to the Times Colonist article on this matter. Canadians have a terrible record when it comes to immigration policy. Does anyone remember the head tax on Chinese immigrants?

this is unacceptable, these are basic needs which need to be catered to the society. This government doesn't care for the community which sponsors them. And they can't vote because they are visitors.
