I also believe something needs to be done. The credit used to be an amazing river filled with fish and in the last 5 years it has become very sad, the numbers are very low.

It is a very important system & the damns should be removed outright, but at the very least fishways/ladders/lifting has to be done

was allowed too reach its full
potential.
With the spawning potential and cold water habitat that could be used this river could
add greatly to the fishing opportunities locally.A real shame if all the restoration work done by volunteers was to go to waste.

Get rid of the dams! We already know that steelhead and salmon do not pose a threat to other trout including Browns and Brookies. Dead salmon also introduce much needed nutrient load to the river. Do stop unnecessary development sprawl that has encroached onto watershed increasing stream temperatures and killing important spring aquifers.
