Let these fish swim, we need more fish over the dams to reach where they need to be. But us anglers also need to help these fish buy dedicating some time to volunteer and be part of the solution not the problem…...

Really a shame to learn about this. Fished that river for years growing up there. Many great memories and hopefully more to come.

This is the fourth petition I've signed with the same intention.... How many petitions will it take for someone to actually listen? Really sad and frustrating.

It's a shame that a healthy fishery is being killed off to save a failing alantic stocking program. Doing so is putting king salmon, Coho and brown trout not to mention steelhead in danger of being depleted. Which will only kill off a multi million dollar industry. It will put average weekend fishermen who spends hundreds of dollars as well as big lake charter out of business. Which in turn means less taxes generated to a sport loved by us all. It also will ruin the chances of future generations enjoying seeing and fishing for these wonderful species. Is trying to save one species worth losing 4 different species of fish?

The credit is a fantastic river whose potential is being ruined by the two dams that prevent passageway for a variety of fish species in the river.
Special interest groups have been allowed to control the headwaters for far too long , and the fishways should be open 24/7, 365 days a year.
