Dont fish it much. But always want to see the fishery improve. Thats my job as a lamprey controller!

Restore more steelhead, coho, salmon, and Browns. The Atlantic salmon program does not work and a big waste of money to be restored at the credit river. If Mnr wants to introduce Atlantics do it up in Georgian bay and Huron trib. The success rate will be phenomenal due to cold water streams in the summer.
The credit river fishery should be focus only on pacific salmon, steelhead, coho, and Browns. Have the ladders open all year round in streetsville if Norval is the final destination. Give the fish more spawning grounds and the returns of wild fish will grow.

Credit river could have a lot of potential, but sadly fishing is nearly not as good as it used to be. Matter of fact I stopped going there as I noticed a huge decrease in the number of the fish I would come across! That's sad....I caught my first steelhead there & used to have a lot of fun along with friends.

urban sprawl will continue to warm the waters of the credit river, we need to do a lot more than is currently being done to provide angling opportunities in the GTA. Protecting the Credit River is great start.

Start a penning program between Dundas amd lake shore let's start by in printing the fish it's worked for the u.s fisheries maybe we can learn a Lil something from them

open all the fish ladders on the Credit River to allow full access for all fish to the entire river. Fish ladders are meant to allow fish passage around barriers not create another barrier.

I really wish we did not have to beg, scream and shout at the top of our lungs to get this done. This should have been delved into long ago by the powers that be, those that we support financially. Yet nothing.
