Too many historical sites are destroyed. The lighthouse outbuildings are part of Eagle Bluff should be restored & not destroyed. At no cost to Wisconsin DNR! Allow DCHS tp preserve the future for the next generations!

How do we know who we are if we don’t know from whence we came! It would be a worthy investment to rebuild the barb and summer kitchen. Self sustenance was essential for survival - a good lesson learned!!

My great grandparents William and Julia Duclon were keepers of Eagle Bluff Lighthouse. The restoration of the Light is magnificent so far and is a huge asset to the Park. The additional buildings should be a part of your Master Plan so that the Museum will be complete. My heart is sad that you are even considering leaving the Lighthouse out of your Master Plan since it is one of the best historical attractions in Peninsula State Park. Please reconsider your objection.

One of my favorite places on Earth! Have grown up visiting Eagle Bluff Light Station. It would be a shame to have this petition denied for the lighthouse's upgrades and restoration.

I have travel all over the United States and several countries to visit and to photograph Lighthouses. These light houses have saved many mariners lives. They are part of a history that cannot be replaced. Like so many things that are being destroyed and removed in the name of a advancement. I know that DNR has a heavy responsibility of taking care of the natural resources due to over population and destruction, but they should not allow what is left to go by the wayside..These precious lighthouses help teach the children of the future to understand the past and if preserved they can teach their children to do the same before our precious history is HISTORY! Please sign the petition for future generations...

Lighthouses in Door county are such an important part of our Wisconsin history, in fact if the entire Great Lakes region. The docents here were excellent storytellers bringing to life the day to day joys and struggles of the keepers who saved lives daily. Please preserve the lighthouse! Please!!

Our history is important do remind us who we are, where we've been, what we've done, problems we've solved, what we cared about. Please do not turn your back on this effort to continue restoration of this wonderful piece of America's and Wisconsin's shipping history.
