After passing this referendum, we should have even more opportunities for the students not less and the arts are critical to growth. Valuing athletics above arts is a lack of true understanding of students diverse needs. Disappointing to say the least

So important for many reasons. As an alum I can say that performing in spring musicals was a highlight of my time at HCHS and so different from other things in which I participated.

Without the Drama department, my high school experience would have been a shadow of itself, and I'm sure my academic enthusiasm would've dropped. I was in 9 plays and musicals at HC, and AD'ed a freshman play. The rhythm of the school year for me surrounded the stage, and the program at both schools is vital to the whole-student experience our schools are known for. Full restoration is a must.

I’m a theater parent from another high school yet I’ve been to several Hindsdale productions! I truly hope this is reinstated as the theater is just as important as sports!
