We purchased our ticket $225. in June and still no access to the beach. Take the money and do not allow access. The National Parks are for the people!

We have paid for a permit that we can't use. The Plover and Least Turn populations have rebounded to the point where actual people might get the "privilege" to use the beach that "they" pay for.

With critical need to social distance and space out, when is the safety of the public going to come before nesting shore birds? You can say, "then don't go to the beach." And to that person I say we endure miserable weather in the Northeast half the year and really have 3 months to spend time at the beach. Mental health matters. ORV opening solves all of the above - place is heaven on earth. It's a shame it's closed during peak summer months and/or limited to size of a postage stamp.

I'll sign, I've lived on the Cape since 1974 and seen over the years less and less access to the beaches. In the 70's you could drive for miles and miles. Are the birds still in danger? What are their numbers?

I have purchased a permit every year for the past twenty years and it seems like I get less and less time every year. The birds can be protected and still allow people to drive on the beach.

Even Herring Cove has a huge section of a sandbar still closed off. CCNS was created for the people to enjoy, when did that change?

Couldn't agree more - can't we all get along, birds included? Yes we can, it's been proven!

Wish all these people we’re interested 15 years ago. I would go to the mandated meetings and only 5 or 6 people would show up. Hope this helps.
