These lanes are the WORST. There are way more cars on the street than bikes. Cars should get priority. Just do the numbers!

(1)Also increases idling (pollution) time at turns. Turns from one way onto one way had been permitted for efficiency and to minimize pollution. (2) people who feel they need to must be allowed to exit directly from the passenger car door onto the sidewalk. Cyclists must be expected to pat attention. (3) Regardless of streetscape, cyclists and pedestrians MUST be held accountable for breaking traffic rules. When I can, I thank the few who obey them. Thank you.

The new bike lane parking set up is extremely dangerous and probably violates handicap discrimination laws. Dont wait until someone is killed- put Beacon Street back please!

Dangerous when leaving side street from garage because of blocked view. Cars driving down Beacon can not be seen. View of pedestrians crossing aso blocked.

I suggest that bikers get license plate and ticket if disobey law

Bikers are not required to use the designated bike lane. They’re in the bike lane, in the auto lanes and still going the wrong way on a one way street. What solution is this?

The new bike lane is a good idea but not on Beacon St. It is so dangerous for pedestrians and so challenging for Uber's and taxis to find addresses for pick up.
Additionally, Beacon St is notorious for large quantities of double parked vehicles -- often within feet of each other on opposite sides of the street which makes Beacon a 1-lane Slalom course. It is dangerous, disruptive and most importantly, as is one of the areas few EVACUATION ROUTES, potentially paralyzingly in an evacuation emergency. Please consider restoring it

This is not working...can't see bicyclists when turning right, they still go through red lights all the time which makes it even more dangerous. They can use Commonwealth Ave bike path to get everywhere that Beacon Street takes them. Just a bad idea that makes it less safe for them and for cars.

This haphazard adjustments for bikes on the streets needs to be re-analyzed. Both as a biker and a driver, it is dangerous that neither party can see each other thru the parked cars and many accidents will happen when cars make right turns.

We already have bike lanes on Comm Ave and on the river. I love riding my bike and live on Beacon Street but don't want a bike lane on my street. We need the right balance between bikes and cars...right now it seems like the city is trying to push anyone who needs a car to move out to the suburbs...that would be bad for the overall tax base and for the vibrancy that comes from diversity of city dwellers....we can't all be millennails without cars!

This new configuration makes it very unsafe for pedestrians since traffic is harder to see as it makes turns. The bike lane is terrible since it is in the shoulder with drainage structures and puddles. Snow removal will be impossible. Traffic is terrible and often confined to one lane due to delivery trucks. Please restore our street.

Bike lane configuration makes it less safe for bikers, pedestrians, and cars and their passengers. Can’t see bikes behind cars. No left turn on red also makes it more dangerous for bikers and cars.

The block between Hereford and Mass Ave is a parking lot at rush hours, causing gridlock at the intersections. Each block has at least one car double parked so it is now a one lane obstacle course. Unsafe for all!

Live on Beacon between Exeter and Fairfield. Avid biker -- the redesign was well-intentioned but not successful.
