The revised bike lane is dangerous. You cannot park your car, get out of a taxi, help a disabled passenger his car without totally blocking one of the two operating through lanes. Additionally you cannot see the bikers while trying to make a right turn causing innumerable near accidents. The entire design is inappropriate for a major thruway .

this arrangement is very dangerous (for pedestrians, for passengers getting out of cars into bike lanes) and has created unacceptable congestion. Beacon St is an evacuation route -- it is now unsafe and inefficient.

This bike lane is rarely used! Before this was implemented don't you think a resident meeting should have been held?? I believe this lane is definitely inefficient and unsafe. It has turned a three lane street into a two lane street which mostly turns into a one lane street due to people trying to park in spots and/or delivery trucks tying up one of the lanes. Who thought of this!!??? Now Dartmouth street has been turned into a one lane street! When will this stop??? Bikers have the beautiful Charles River Esplanade to ride bikes and if people are riding to work or school, they should ride with the traffic (and obey stop signs and light!) since the speed limit is down to 25 miles per hour anyway.

It is unsafe for drivers and bikers. The turn from Beacon onto The Mass Ave bridge is dangerous and creates bad traffic jams.

It is also unsafe to get out of drivers side doors of parked cars. It is a good idea to make safe bike lanes but this is poorly thought out

Right turns off Beacon Street to Back Street are increasing in danger as bikers fly through each intersection without stopping regardless of the color of the light. In addition, traffic in both directions on Back Street is increasing as is speed as drivers circumvent Beacon Street. Speed limit of 10MPH +/- needs to be posted on Back Street.

The congestion on Beacon has increased dramatically since this redesign. If there is a single car stopped to unload, a delivery truck, or uber pickup Beacon gets funneled down to 1 lane. I have seen a lot of bikers not even using the lane and instead are riding in traffic which defeats the purpose of this terrible design. Please revert to old set up.

Awful decision to put this stupid bike line in. Awful congestion now with double parked cars leading to only 1 lane at times. Which has led to a lot more noise from honking cars.

USPS, peapod, Uber, FedEx, UPS, construction vehicles, city vehicles, National Grid -- all of these vehicles and more double park on either side of road now making it impossible to navigate Beacon St safely. Please revert to old set up and guide bicycles to Comm Ave or Esplanade where safer for all -- bikes, cars, pedestrians. Getting kids on school buses is also now much more hazardous and cars not waiting and abiding by bus stop signs.

Because of the lack of visibility of oncoming traffic, due to parked cars outside of the bike lane and only 2 traffic lanes, pulling out of the garage at 180 Beacon Street into traffic is now extremely dangerous.

The creation of a bike lane has made it more dangerous for pedestrians and bikers. It's hard to see bikers or moving traffic over the cars when you're crossing the street. Cars double park and let passengers off right into the bike lane so it doesn't eliminate the danger to riders or pedestrians. A not-well-thought-out plan is not worth keeping.

We have a valet designated area
in front of 330 Beacon Street. Individuals with disabilities, for
example in wheelchairs. are unloaded there. They then must cross the bicycle lane to
reach the sidewalk. This is very dangerous. we have already had close calls. Bicyclists ride fast, sometimes are on cell phones and don't
observe traffic rules. They have an excellent alternative routewhich covers the same ground on Commonwealth Avenue. That bicycle lane is
adjacent to the Mall making it
much safer and less intrusive. Bicycles should be re-routed to Commonwealth Avenue and off Beacon Street.

Your redesign of this traffic pattern
makes it too difficult to navigate
on Beacon Street especially when
some vehicles are double parked on
occastion. Often as a result of this
new pattern which boldly restricts
driving lalnes, traffic is often backed
up in the am from Mass Ave to
sometimes Fairfield street. This restriction of lanes should be changed back to what it wa previously. There are not that many
bicycles that travel Beacon street
that you had to put these restrictions of lanes in place.
