Why is it that the county board of directors and the developers are the only entities that think that more density will make this part of the county a better place to live? Maybe it's because the cash that goes into their coffers will make their lives better not ours.

Even now increased traffic is having a negative impact on my daily activities. We need to consider quality of life of residents first and line the pockets of developers later.

Please keep Reston like Reston that we moved here for. The 'plan' does not include increasing green space to go along with increasing concrete. We do not need this much growth!!!

Please stop zoning changes and leave Reston with its current plan. Traffic, infrastructure and culture would be ruined by this proposed change. Stop it.

We live near the construction sites on Sunrise Valley between Reston Ave and Soapstone. We are in a constant state of consternation and display over the encroachment of these sites. The traffic is horrendous now. We can't believe what it will be like as this development continues.

Please do not increase the density. Reston is already becoming the a "Tysons" which is not why we moved to Reston.

I support change . I do not support change that drastically alters the character and intention of Reston' s original Master Plan. Reston was planned as a unique community with a well outlined set of guiding principles. It has influenced city planning in the US and over seas for decades. It behooves the County Board of Supervisors and the Department of Planning and Zoning to honor and protect the principles that have made Reston a model for community living world wide and not to consider it as just another piece of property to be developed for improving the tax base of Fairfax County, Virginia.

Please do not allow Reston to be "ruined Reston" -- we chose to live in a "planned community" for a reason, and we are proud of our community that Bob Simon developed. Please do not allow it to be just another town for builders and developers to amass their fortunes over.

STOP the zoning change. More people more problems! Traffic jams & waiting in line every place we go....
Like Reston the way it is. If more people added have to sell condo & move somewhere else.

Reston needs to incorporate as a city to gain control of its zoning. Reston's population is >58K compared with Falls Church of a little over 12K and Fairfax City of 22.5K. Herndon's population is a little over 24K. At projected growth figures, Reston will rival Alexandria byk 2025 at a population of 140K.
