Reston Zoning Moratorium Petition

The moratorium is necessary to protect the quality of life in a beautiful community!

I will support ALL growth that includes infrastructure growth to accommodate the economic growth that brings jobs to Reston

Stop overcrowding reston

Reston is on the cusp of serious overcrowding. Already plans which required open space allotments have not been fulfilled. Schools are at limit. I support the position to slow this down.

Reston had gone to hell in a hand basket. This is NOT what I bought into back in the late 70s. Developers want every square inch to put up tick tacky condos. For shame.

Where is the plan?

It's not all about money people. You may be destroying Reston. We don't want to end up like Columbia, MD.

I would like to see more home ownership and less corporate rental building in Reston.

Let Reston remain as something better than a logistical nightmare and a urban mess, like much of the rest of the county.

Nothing but bad governance coming out of Fairfax of late (see the terribly misguided decision on the API building). Fairfax needs to leave Reston to be what it was intended to be, a New Town/planned community.

Growth is fine, but infrastructure is already stressed in some places. Streets and services need to grow with the population and that seems to have been forgotten. Slow down, you can have your condos, BUT do it right.

Stop this insane.

Infrastructure first

Yes, please stop! For the safety and well being of all.

so many projects are being approved that the average citizen cannot keep up with any of it. How much will be too much and how will all the infrustructure be built to support what had already been approved? We do not live here because we want Seven Corners or Arlington or Fairfax. We live here because we want to be able to walk, ride bikes and have cohesive neighborhoods.

Common sense over avarice!

I own my home in Reston and bought it here because of the outdoor space, It is so crowed that that it is losing it's appeal and open feeling.

I am a homeowner that is unhappy with a potential increase of the density cap in Reston, VA. The city's population has already increase beyond it's infrastructure limits. We observe that every day in our daily commute. I hope we can stop the rezoning that only benefits companies and not residents.

Please imporve schools, roads, mass transit and othe already lagging infrastructure before any more development is approved.

Please, let's step back and think this through, or Reston will no longer possess all the qualities that drew us here! FFX doesn't need another Mosaic or Tyson's!
