If i wanted to live in a high density area i would have chosen Arlington or Alexandria. I chose Reston because of its green space, restriction on building size, population and traffic. That was 25 years ago. It has grown more than i expected. I dont want it any bigger.

Wondering how we can fit all these people plus houses in our town. Let's see a well developed plan before any action is taken by the Board of Supervisors. Makes perfect sense to me!

It is rediculous that it takes 20+ Minutes to get 5 miles in Reston during the rush hour. Our roads cannot move the population it has and the buildings are not even full!

Our traffic is too congested today. There is no plan or budget to create the infrastructure needed for 30,000 more commuters.

Let's be true to the founding principles of Reston. Let's not bend to the wishes of developers who want growth at any cost (especially if they can pass on the problems and costs to othhers.)

Development must be phased with infrastructure and this takes time. Too many high-rises and not enough roads, etc.

As a 27 year resident of Reston, I am appalled at the rampant building of high rise buildings and the disregard of Reston's Master Plan by Fairfax County. If a moratorium is not enacted, this will become a significant election issue.

I am not opposed to growth in Reston, but I do want it to be planned with appropriate infrastructure in mind. Affordable housing has to be a part of the mix.

Please keep development and growth in Reston in check. If it is not managed and planned well, with too quick of growth, traffic and infrastructure, along with our quality of life will suffer.

I live in Herndon, VA and work in Reston, VA. Yesterday I needed to see a doctor on Commerce Park Drive in Reston, and I was shocked to see so much building going on in one place and a parking garage where there had never been one before. I've lived here 10 years and the area I went looks horrible all crowded together and more traffic even with Metro in the area. Please stop!!! There is no need to make so much excess building and housing all at the same time. People will find a place to live away from the expensive areas you are now putting up. I wouldn't rent anything there, because it is being constructed so fast, structure integrity might be a concern. After all we DID have an earthquake here in 2011, REMEMBER???

The traffic in Reston has become a nightmare. It takes 8-10 minutes to make a left turn from Twin Branches onto Lawyers during AM rush hour and much longer during PM rush hour.
