As a +30 year resident of the South Lakes area, enough with all this building that started when the Wiehle Metro opened. Empty buildings, speculative housing and the perceived need for gigantic buildings do not make Reston a desirable place to live, work and play.

Reston was never planned to be a concrete forest with streams of cars. Where are the vistas for calm reflection ,the village centers for mingling with neighbors while taking care of routine necessities, gentle pathways for families and fitness and welcoming arms for all economies? Fight back and protect our hometown and say NO to those who demand to impose their Concrete agenda on Reston. Simon never intended Reston to become a sprawling dormitory of gridlocked ugliness!!!

We do not need more development. We need to complete the infrastructure for what has been developed. We do not want to become a food desert or become so overcrowded that we lose what we have that makes Reston a desired community.

My family has been Reston residents for 35 years. We know that Bob Simon fought to keep the character of Reston true to its founding principles. We MUST NOT let Reston become yet another cash cow for heartless developers!

Reston has already taking away the parking spaces in the Reston town Center leaving the residents who have lived here for over 30 years do you have to pay for some greedy corporations pockets. As well they have brought the silver line all the way to Reston which brings riffraff in crime to the area. Such as which incident can be noticed as well as the attempted abduction of a young woman on North Northshore wheelie Avenue.
'enough is enough'!!!!. Reston was made to be a planned community with only a set amount of people living in it you have turned it into a sprawling new York suburban, this is on except a bowl.
