We, the undersigned, being adult, Alaskan Voters, call for the removal of Cynthia Franklin as the head of the ACB/MCB in Alaska due to demonstrated conflict of interest and a life long history of being a cannabis antagonist.
The person holding this position should have a thorough understanding of the cannabis culture, not a one sided antagonist viewpoint. Regulations should be based on law, the will of the people and common sense, not personal or political agendas.

I have been reading through the comments and honestly it just keeps reinforcing why this whole situation with the board is so backwards. People are sending me their own stories about these regulations and it is becoming pretty clear that this is about way more than just one person sitting in that chair.

She's a former Prosecuting Attorney for the City of Anchorage, and was the same for Bell County, Texas. The only thing she really knows about cannabis and alcohol is to put people in jail for using them.
This person is so out of touch.She reminds me of that guy in the TV commercial that refuses to try the Almond milk just because he doesn't know what it will taste like. Contempt prior to investigation
She needs to go, I'm sick of her being detrimental to the progress of legalization. We still haven't given out business licenses to boost our horrible economy.
C. Franklin has been antagonistic since the very first MCB meeting. Her disregard for science is clear from her statements and her disregard for the people of Alaska was even more evident after the rudeness she exhibited at the first meeting. Please, remove C. Franklin from the MCB. She clearly has no business there.
This woman lawyer who is so obviously prejudiced should never have been on the board to begin with. how about an open min d especially with Medical Cannibus. Im old, and hqave a med card. I need to get Indical oil for my health problems. She is a determent to having an open minded board.
C. Franklin has shown a blatant disregard for the will of the people. She shouldn't be on the MCB. End of story.
This is a conflict of interest, Her state job requires her to protect the states interest financial in alcohol. Pot is a threat.

She's killing the cannabis industry before it has even gotten started. There is an apparent lack of research into the canna industry and culture on her part which is evident in the remarks she has made. We need someone who will respect the vote and the will of the people. Thank you.
