793.8 - This number you may recognise. Its a code use in the library to locate magic books. It's time to change it. This code refers magic to being known to the public as an "indoor game and amusement". This can make a poor judgement in our art to the public. I'm on a mission to GLOBALLY change it's perception in every library around the world. Magic should live solely under the code 790. "Public Performance". Why does this matter? It's just a code! For the majority of people who take an interest in magic, they eventually get to the library to study it further. The next child to take a journey of magic, will know from the 'get go' that one is about to embark on not a 'game or amusement', but a 'performance art'. Give magic what it deserves; RESPECT!
