Public access to the waterfront should be protected. JFK Marina gives the people of Yonkers access to the river. This valuable waterfront property should not be used for a private parking garage.

JFK marina serves as boat launch, BBQ spot, free kayaking offered by YPRC, for walking dog, car motorcycle enthusiast gathering, simple hangout spot and many more. Placing a private garage will be the death of the community life of Yonkers residents.

I am a member of YPRC and regularly use the marina for kayaking, picnicking and relaxing. I also store my boats at the YPRC storage facility. There is no where else to do this. A parking facility does not need access to the river or the park. Removing the availability of these irreplaceable resources would do irrevocable harm.

The river shore should be accessible for all, not just privately owned. Please plan more intelligently for development and stop destroying the views of the Hudson for all. Think of the future!

The Yonkers Historical Society is also against building on the park. They can build further south. We must keep the only public boat launch available.

As a resident of 1020 Warburton Avenue, I am opposed to the alienation of the JFK Marina parking lot. The park serves not only the immediate residents in the community but the broader City of Yonkers. Additionally, the proposed parking structure with between 550-729 spaces would pose a potential health risk from exhaust, which is in conflict with LGG's stated mission of responsible environmental stewardship.

Not only does the structure take vital green space out of a predominantly African American and Latinex neighborhood, it vastly increases the traffic and the danger to which those using the remaining sliver of parkland will be subjected.

we're organizing to find out more info, from the developer, but more importantly the CITY. This and every development must serve the surrounding community, and this developer hasn't done the work to find solutions for glaring community concerns.

The developer should NOT use parkland paid for by us the citizens of Yonkers. The City authorities must defend the citizens opinion.
Love this park. I go kayaking from here.
