This is an example of the lack of urgency in resolving issues that affect too many people's daily lives. Get all the potholes repaired as well - they are dangerous.

The closure of this road has meant that cars have to go along the UgleyGreen very wriggly danger ends or by equally dangerous road as you can see oncoming traffic - by side of The Ugley Chequers!
At least the closed road was less dangerous and to be closed for such a long time is dreadful!

The failure to address the damage to North Hall Rd in a timely manner is totally unacceptable. The diversion through Patmore End has caused considerable damage to the road making it an unsafe option. The repair to North Hall Rd need to be addressed as a matter of urgency.

Essex Highways and the Environment Agency need to explain what they have been doing with regard to organising the repair of the bank along North Hall Road and why they have achieved no apparent progress at all in 9 months since this vital access road was closed. The Officials involved in this appalling failure of their statutory duty need to be held fully accountable for this dilatory response.

My husband & I use this route regularly when it’s open, for both work which has made journeys to peoples houses much longer and at times awkward through one way traffic lanes, and also use of the road for pleasure to the henham fishing lake.
It was promised to reopen in November 2020, this now unacceptable, and little information to boot.

The closure of this road for so long is a disgrace - and those responsible do not seem to know what to do with the problem (what is it, anyway - flooding?) nor when it will be dealt with . FIND A SOLUTION AND GET IT IMPLEMENTED.

I fail to understand why the road has been closed of rso long with absolutely no progress. There is inconvenience to villagers and the access through Patmore End is getting worse and worse as it is not designed for heavy traffic and large vehicles.
