the closure of North Hall Road has been going on far too long and the diversion through Patmore end is very dangerous. Please inform us local residents what is going on and why is it still closed!!

Please fix the road as soon possible, it's been out of action for a very long time causing huge inconvenience for local residents. Thank you

There are too many cars now using the road that go too fast and cause damage to the property boundaries

Yet another road works fiasco, the council members in charge should be sacked.

The cars coming down Patmore End is ridiculous, every morning trying to reverse out of my drive I am faced with cars going to fast down the road. Patmore End now looks awful from the damage that is being done to the verges due to the amount of traffic being pushed down the lane and our property along with many of our neighbours is being damaged with card trying to pass each other.

The diversion it’s ridiculous it add up so much on your travel and the deserted single lane it’s dangerous and especially now with all the big farming machinery. And you can clearly see the destroying of the little single lane as everyone pulls away on all sides of the road and even the sides of that lane are ruined

If the council spent as long fixing the problem as rearranging the bollards, this would have been sorted months ago.

This closure adds a significant amount of time to my journey

I used to use north hall road every day it’s been a pain and has added so much time onto my journey, the length of time it’s been closed with no work is madness

This closure has forced an excessive amount of traffic through Patmore End which has subsequently caused a lot of damage to the banks and edges of the road and to peoples private property. The road is very narrow at points and is not suited to the amount of traffic that it has been travelling through it- certainly at the excessive speeds that we have witnessed on regular occasions. Vehicles often have to reverse fairly long distances to let another vehicle pass. This matter requires urgent remedial action.

This closure has caused us no end of problems we live in patmore End and the road is only just wide enough for one car our banks have been destroyed and our property boundaries lessened as cars keep going up on to our boundaries to over take over cars and because the speed limit is 60 miles an hour they are going to fast pass our houses and then have to break suddenly when another car appears a serious accident is going to happen

I regularly need to drive to Henham from Wendens Ambo - the alternate route through Patmore Green is dangerous with the amount of traffic going through there - it’s one car and unsighted at points.

There has been no sensible resolution to this. Simply a single lane with sensor traffic lights would at least help in the meantime

The way Essex County Council, Essex Highways, and the Environment Agency have operated for the last nine months is shambolic. The leadership teams should be replaced with more effective leaders, capable of transforming the current can’t do culture and fix this issue urgently. Remember, this is an election year for ECC

If the work is necessary, complete it and get the traffic flowing again. 9 months delay with no end in sight is totally unacceptable.

The delayed completion of works that has caused North End Road to still be closed after 9 month is unacceptable.

This road has been closed long enough. The diversion is dangerous, narrow and becoming very damaged. It is not a long term viable option.
