I used the road daily and the road from the Chequers is unsuitable and dangerous for multiple passing vehicles

North Hall Road must be repaired as a matter of absolute priority. The current diversion is not only inadequate for the volume of traffic, but extremely dangerous. It is only a matter of time before someone is injured or worse.

We have been waiting a ridiculous amount of time. The traffic volume is terrible, and dangerous. Please attend to it immediately.

It is unacceptable to shut a road with no action for so long. The diversion is now incredibly dangerous and almost unusable due to the holes in the road.

Absolutely outrageous how long its taken not to fix this road. I am a carer and trying to get to see my patients has been very difficult. The division is so much longer that I often have to cut their call shorter as I'm running late buy the time I get there and thats not fair on them. Especially during the pandemic where I'm one of the only people they see week in week out.The division route is totally unsuitable and had a very near miss with a horse box on the blind bends on a single width road. This needs sorted and there is no excuse for the delay this long

This lane is not able to support the level of traffic caused by the diversion. I have witnessed so many near misses and examples of dangerous driving. Walking the dog or children along this road has become so stressful and dangerous and the verges have been ruined by cars who do not adhere to the passing places.

This road is an important route to/fro schools, doctors surgery and to link the villages and towns such as Saffron Walden . It is ridiculous that it is still closed!

This has been a massive pain in the rear, having to constantly get pushed into pot holes by bigger vehicles using the road up to Patmore end.
Having lived on North Hall Road for over 30 yrs, I have never had to contend with anything like this.

The prolonged lack of inactivity at this site is hard to understand. Essex Highways seem to think the limited road infrastructure in this area can sustain any amount of new housing development, and apparently removing one of the main exit routes is fine as well. Time to wake up and smell the coffee.

Please get on with the work to repair Northhall Road. What is taking Uttlesford so long to repair a small section of road where the bank has collapsed? 9 months???
Henham residents do not want another winter of diversion through Patmore End. On this diversion the road verges now display very large holes that are damaging our cars. These holes are sometimes unavoidable in the rain as they fill with water and cannot be seen. There is NO avoiding the holes when one meets an oncoming vehicle on the narrow stretches of the route.
Completely inept.
