the cancellation of this event is unfair and irresponsible.

He cancelled Pride simply because he could and no one has the balls or half the audacity that he has to call b.s. or to stop him. He's laughing at us as a community. Who's gonna stop him? This is the 2nd time, right? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice.......well, you know how the rest goes. NOW that y'all have caught up to where I've been since 2008, let's see how we come together as a community and fix this! Stayed Tuned, kids!

If your main job in the position is getting the pride parade organized, and you end up canceling it, then you defenately need be fired. You are incompetent.

This is unacceptable. Especially after watching cleveland host the rnc with all of those shenanigans. Pride is an integral part of our communities past , present, and future. Vernon Baker a gentleman who should be relied upon heavily for co sultation in resolving these so called barriers to hosting a pride event in this city.

We need a leader who braves the current social climate strategically, not who hides from it.

Isn't it amazing that Todd Saporito can't produce a Pride parade/festival yet can still throw a Pride party at FLEX/Aura? How sad to use the situation to pad his pockets! But isn't this typical of Todd and his ethics? Shame on anyone who attends this party.

Absolute disgrace that the site of the RNC convention which developed the regressive homophobic party platform and after LGBT nationwide face backlash on marriage, discrimination and bathroom laws and the Orlando massacre, Cleveland Pride renigs in this important 27th year. Resign. Make way for brave LGBT leaders who can. You remind me of Kim Davis. Do the job or get out!

Hopefully pride can be rescheduled and made better in the ashes of this nonsense

Coward. I'm absolutely disgusted with this decision to cancel a Pride. You're giving the people attacking the LGBT+ community a free victory, and encouraging more hatred and violence. Let them march and show that the terrorist actions are worthless so maybe we won't have more innocent people dead.

This is sad what they did. I don't participate in them. But it still pisses me off

The entire board should be disolved and restarted. It is a disgusting thing to lie to the community that you are supposed to be a part of. There is NO reason other then your lack of managment and skills that this was canceled

As part of a business geared up to be a Bronze level sponsor this year, I was so very disappointed to get this news. I suspected something was up, but cancelation is inexcusable. Passion is needed to lead successfully, and it appears to be lacking!!
