No pride even should ever be cancelled.. By cancelling the event you are showing your weaknesses and saying somehow the LGBTQ community is weak, which we are not!!

There is nothing fair or ethical about the cancelation of this event.

You have 1 major event a year...every other city figured out how to do it...if you can't then resign. If there was EVER a year you needed to make it happen this was it

This is not a leader instead of bringing us together he is dividing the community

To hide from threats does not demonstrate pride. It demonstrates fear! Stand up with pride!

Too many of us have hidden for so long and been pressured to feel guilty for whom we are. And now this? Wow!

You should quit. Now is not the time to hiding and being afraid. They are winning and taking more and more rights away every day. The parade in the heart of the movement. Just because you have gotten to old and lazy to do your job the people you claim to represent shouldn't be disrespected as you did.

after hosting the gay games several years ago without incident, it's unbelievable that Cleveland pride would be canceled without more explanation.

Pride began as a protest, it began with courage, and it began with a fighting spirit. Pride faces down bigots, it doesn't run from them.

What a shame that we can host a party and for 1.3 million people, but we can't have a party and parade for maybe 100,000. Audit everything and resign or kick him out- you're a coward.

If the reason you gave was actually true, give some details so that we're not all left scratching our heads over your stupidly cryptic and meaningless words.

I am not gay, but support our LGBT community 100%. The parade is part of the history of cleveland. Mr Saporito is not easy to work and is polarizing.
