Residents Parking for the Colonies - Exmouth

I live in Salisbury Road - since 2014

2 permits per house. Multi occupancy is making parking a nightmare plus commercial vehicles belonging to people who do not live in the colony.

I live in the colonies and I know I am not guaranteed a parking space if residents parking is approved but I am sure I will have more chance of parking closer to my home if the area was not saturated with workers , commuters and shoppers cars when I get home from work.

We have so many work vans being parked in the colonies now, it's hard to find a space when I get home from work

100% with this! Parking has become impossible! I live in egremont road and because of the school and people parking here to go to work in town it’s ridiculous.

I totally agree that it should be resident only parking.i live in bicton street and it's the same there. The parking is horrendous for residents.. I'm all for it. Can we do it for our street to please .

Lived in the colony for 15yrs it's madness in evening for parking on corners of junctions and double yellow lines so this can't be people parking to go shopping??

Please include Woodville Road also. Provide parking for people that live on Exeter road that are forced to use the colony area when restrictions are in place. But not to the detriment of local businesses.

Although I don't actually live in Exmouth myself I have close friends who live in the colonies and parking there is terrible. Considering how close it is to the town centre I'm amazed that it isn't resident parking only or metered or timed for non-residents. I feel for the people who live there; house prices in Exmouth are sky-high so affording somewhere with private parking is difficult and I can't imagine anything more annoying than getting home from a day at work and potentially having to park far away.

Having just moved into New north road,we would find permit parking extremely helpful. There’s is nothing more irritating than not being able to park near your own house because the general public use these roads as there own personal car park and then walk into town,just to save themselves a couple of pounds in parking. Please give this matter your consideration. Many thanks Yvonne

I have just moved into a house in new north road and being that it is the only part of the colonies with limited waiting spaces then I think this would be a great idea, not just for new north Rd but for all of the colonies, I never realised how bad it has become until I moved here. I would fully support this
