Totally agree, it would also save time at point of collection as I've seen the refuse collectors empty the boxes into bins to load onto the wagons

Total waste of money...should have had large bins to begin with .

Mice and rats come around our green boxes despite me cleaning everything that goes in them first. Also cats wee in them... grim . A wheely bin would be much better for everyone...

Bin is so much tidier and easy to pull out ...

Yesterday especially storm Dorris my bottle crate was empty as its contents had blown all over the front street. The lids if you are lucky enough to still have one blow off and if you use one cannot fit much in the bin. Tall bins like the refuse bins are welcome that way can be kept at the back of the house and not in my tiny front behind the wall. I did keep it in the back but then taking it through the house to put out on the front left a smell of cat urine and dirty rain water all through my house. I do not fancy having to walk the bins all the way around my house to the front but would love to be able to walk it to the end of the Lkey as I do with the blue and black bin. I think more people would recycle if they were given tall bins. My street I would say there are about 6 bins put out in total as nobody wants it blowing around the front street. When I return home most often I spend the time picking up what has blown out. I tend to transfer my items into a bin bag and tie it and place it on the front in the bin. I am a keen recycler so welcome this new bin and agree to scrap the others.

Sick of windy days and everyone's rubbish blows into my garden from these bins. How do you expect elderly people to lift these bins to the front of the house. Useless!

Lids blow away as does box and then contents end down the street. It should be a hygienic wheelie bin!

I think this would be a great idea and would stop all bottles getting blown on to the street in bad weather,
